Thuy Tran, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY30534)

Are you having difficulties coping with stress, managing conflicts, and connecting to others? Conflicts can elicit emotions, thoughts, and reactions that structure our sense of self and our relationships.  I can help guide you to a better understanding of deeper feelings about your relationships and personal view of self.

In my sessions, I offer clients compassion, openness, and empathy.  I value diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and evaluate how clients' individual and family experiences affect their lives.

Working through a client-centered and humanistic lens, I work to help my clients better understand themselves, cultivate their strengths, gain insight into their challenges, and make the changes they think are necessary. I assist clients in rebuilding self-trust and self-confidence while relying on their unique inner wisdom. It is a privilege to help clients heal from the past and be more empowered in the present.

I have a professional interest and unique perspectives to issues of difference and connection. Be it cross cultural issues, intergenerational conflicts, or challenges of life transition and growth, I exercise a compassionate understanding in resolving the seeming paradoxes of conflicts to achieve an increased sense of harmony and peace.
